Cell Phone Email at Work

Postby LoVel » Wed May 06, 2009 4:09 pm

I clipped this from an email at work. Thought is was relevant to all the cell phone people killing other drivers and riders.

Employees who park off premises are also advised that the 9th Avenue incoming and outgoing traffic lanes at the parking deck were not designed for pedestrians. You must be very careful of the vehicular traffic entering and leaving the deck. This holds true for drivers as well. We have even noted an employee walking into the deck while talking on a cell phone and walking directly in front of a car (and nearly getting hit) whose driver was also talking on a cell phone. Please be cautious and observant at all times.

Gotta love this shit.

I was reading somewhere that there's a big problem in New York City with pedestrians immersed in their cell phone conversations stepping out into intersections without looking and getting hit.

I consider it Darwinism.

That's why I don't care for riding bike uptown.
It's not necessarily cells but a variety of stupid shit that could take a person out.
Forget the 'Swine Flu' this town has a mass epidemic of people
with 'Stereo-Rectumitis.' LoL.
Peoples don't pay attention anymore.
