The British Invasion is the weekend of September 18-20, so if we wanted to have a get-together in the fall, that would probably be the best time for it.

You could also take Rt 7 and avoid the slab... or better yet work out a more scenic route. Might take 7 hours instead of 5, but think of it as a nice day ride to get up to northern Vermont. And it's easy enough to figure out an alternate route back south after.

lets see how things go. I would rather go back to VT then go out to the Finger lakes in Sept fo the BA.com Noreast rally.

My uncle has a "friends don't let friends drive Rt 7" sticker :D Plus, that constable in Wallingford has the world record for tickets... You COULD take 30 north from Manchester up to Middleburry area and skip the boring parts of 7 (and Rutland). Or take 100 up...

Matt, I've taken the slab allllllll the way from Bridgeport to Waterbury VT before (for the Stowe Triumph raid). I think I made it thru the state of MA in like 35 minutes or something. It's kinda boring, but quick considering how much ground you cover. And 89 in VT is a gorgeous ride, if kinda straight. Mark is right, you can definitely mix it up, and Burlington is an AWESOME city to visit!!

Thanks for posting the dates Mark, keep us updated, I'll see if I can make it up!

Maybe July? The wife and I are taking ab reak from house hunting... Long story. But I was kinda waiting to see what's up with that, but it'll be a few months before any moving happens no matter what, so we'll have to pick a date sometime soon.

Sounds good, Benny. I'm away July 4th weekend(back to VT), but I have most weekends open after that. I might bring my son along on his KLR 250!

Yeah I need to play it by ear so far... Parents want to visit sometime too, so we'll see.
