European Bike tour

Postby amrehm » Wed Aug 25, 2010 8:11 am

Here are pics from my Edelweiss vacation thruough Germany, Austria, Italy, Swtizerland & Liechtenstein. What an unbelievable experience. Pictures & words just can't do the trip justice. If any of you were thinking about doing something like this, I highly recommend it. Well worth it. These were all take from the High Alpine Tour all through the eastern Alps & Dolomites.

Awesome trip!

Europe is on my list. I've been in many of those same places, but never on a bike. Conveniently I have family scattered around Germany and the Netherlands, so I even have places to crash. One of these years...

Outta sight, man! I was in Germany myself this summer - Munich - but no bike unfortunatley. Went to Nueschwanstein, Chiemsee, Nurmburg, and others. The Bavarian countryside near the Alps is primo motorcycling turf for sure.
My brother lives in Munich, so we go visit every so often. One of these trips I am going to rent a bike [BMW?] and tool around.

Wow, Nice Pics Alan. I didn't make it to Germany this summer, but did spend some time in the Harrisburg area - Hershey Park.

See you next spring!
