Back in one piece. The wind going west made it feel like I was riding in a paint shaker. Thanks again to Tito and Mark for all the effort. Already looking forward to next year.

Finished mowing the lawn and watering the plants. Set the DVR on at 1pm to record the Yankees game, I got 2 T-bone steaks on the grill and I'm gonna eat, watch the game, get some sleep in my own bed and then back to work tomorrow morning because I left my dirt in Boss Kean's ditch before I left for VT! It was great seeing everyone despite 2 years in a row with rain. At least we got a nice Saturday and a dry ride home this morning. I wish I had my camera charger with me so I could have taken some pictures! I missed a lot of Kodak moment back there in dem dare woods! :D

Sad it's over, but happy everything turned out so well. Big thanks to Mark and Tito for organizing this great event. Thanks also to Robin and Paul. Again thanks to Mark for leading us on a great ride. Brian led us on a nice ride on Friday. The weather was perfect for my ride home today. I left at 7:40 to beat the rain(which I did!). July 4th weekend I'll be in VT again and will do a revised Adirondack ride again. See you all next year!

Tito and Jim split off partway to head towards Rutland, the rest of us took 100 up to Rt 17, rode over the App Gap, then John split off to head home while I led Mike up to Hinesburg, where he finally split off to go catch the ferry across Lake Champlain.

Great ride back home, which was a perfect way to cap off an excellent BTB!

Thanks to all of YOU for making this event so awesome. It wouldn't matter one bit what Tito, Robin, and I did if you guys weren't all such a great bunch of people.

Mais non, thanks to YOU, ROBIN,TITO, KURT and all others who organized, delivered, led, cared.... We all came the first year because it was such a good idea. We came the second year because of the friendships developed because of all your good works!

Anyway, my body made it home safe, but "I Left my heart in downtown Bennington, high on a monument, it calls to me..."

After I split off from Mark and Mike, I dodged a few more very strong wind gusts and dark clouds. Got home, peeled off the top cases and shoved the dirty T100 in the garage. I had a shower and sat down with a couple of hotdogs... I blinked and after a couple of hours I woke up. I slept through a hail storm and tree-breaking winds. Made it just in time, I guess.

Thanks to everyone who organized and helped and extended friendship through this awesome weekend.

I'll be down to see Seth and the other CT Rockers again very soon!

Back in one piece. Took the Mohawk trail on the way back and managed to scrape both floorboards in the twisties. No, one of them was not on the hairpin. Damn, maybe next year. What a great time with everyone and defenetly a gas to hang around the campfire telling stories and cracking jokes with the best of the best. Pics are forthcoming. Great job to all who put in the hard effort to make this year even better than last.

Left VT and went to Keene NH first then took I 91 all the way down to CT. Quick blast..1.5 hrs. Not too bad. Went to kent CT had lunch then went home. Got home around 5pm. Had a great time also and my hats off to everyone who had a part in the organization of this past weekend. Now I hope I dont get in too much trouble for dodging out of work earlier on friday to make it there on time..but it was worth it!

Doug, Dan and I left at 8 on sunday morning, home at 11
100mph+ on I-91 chasing a BMW (car)
picked up the dog, mowed the lawn, cleaned the bike, showed everyone the total lack of chicken strips on the Thruxton's tires
+ 1 cigar, 2 scotch= very satisfying weekend

Made it home mid afternoon after riding down most of the way with Uncle Charlie. really didn't need that last blast of rain right when we were leaving and part way down on the ride home. Perhaps Arizon would be a good location for next year's bash.

Maybe you boys should have left with me & Benny instead of staring at Boss Ed's forest! We ran it back in just under 3 hours with not a drop of rain! Still had time to cut the lawn and water it before the wife came home from Maryland. Good seeing you Pat . . . we will ride some more this summer for sure.

Well we had to sort through our garbage and make sure it was in the correct canister, and then check all the toilets to make sure they were flushed correctly - wouldn't want to get a bad rep with Mr. Ed.

Just to make it official - got home to NJ safe and sound Sunday after a great ride down the Taconic Parkway. Not a single cop the whole way, but I got RAINED on from Cambridge, NY to Hosick Falls, then twice on the Taconic and finally during the last stretch home from Cold Spring, NY to Wayne, NJ. Every time, it was only 3-4 minutes of rain - but still just enough to keep me wet for the next hour. But who cares!

Great weekend, great group - over 800 miles in 3 days!
