Hi Tito-

3 of us will be going straight to the Top of the Hill from work on Friday, arriving by 5 if everything goes as planned. Can we get tickets from you ahead of time, or should we just get them from you when we get there? Thanks!

sevy

ps- we'll be the ones wearing the 2010 BTB tee shirts!

Why do barbecue and bikes go together so well? Seriously, can you think of anyone on a bike who isn't nuts about barbecue?

I tried a new and very simple recipe the other day. The local Price Chopper had pork tenderloins for $5.99 per pound, but it was "buy one get one free", so I got 4 of them for $2.99 a pound! Rather than freeze one package, I decided to just cook them all. Here's the method, and they came out fabulous: put the tenderloins in a crockpot, pour in enough root beer to cover them, and cook them on low for about 6 hours. Then drain off the root beer, dump in your favorite barbecue sauce (mine is Dinosaur), and shred up the meat and cook for another hour. Then onto toasted kaiser rolls and a big spoon of coleslaw on top to finish. Now that's good eats!
I actually had so much that I ate pulled pork sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dinner for three days! I love barbecue so much, though, that I didn't get sick of it. In fact, I'm keeping my eye out for the next time they go on sale!
