I couldn't find a US dealer who could get the tins, so I bought them from a dealer in the UK, (Jack Lilley Triumph) & the factory sent me a green & silver tank, claiming they've never produced any green and cream tanks. We went back & forth for a while on this issue, and it finally got to - they won't do it - no how no way, which seemed kind of odd, & so my wife's cousin painted my black tank green as shown in the photo. I like his swoops better than the factory ones that typically end near the console, so it's all good.

Pics from Skyline Drive & The Blue Ridge Parkway - I rode the entire length on the way to GA, less a few construction detours on the BRP. 574 miles of National Park. Phew!
I'd do it again tomorrow if I didn't think it would cost me my job & marriage.
