Looks like the United States government has decided I am essential. Woohoo. That means I get to go to work and whenever they decide to quit trying to make each other look bad and pass the fucking budget they will pay me.

If there are non-essential employees, then why are we employing them if they aren't needed?

The non-essentials are the one mucking up the process...ubelievably we elected the arse holes! You see they passed a bill a little while ago making sure they get paid. We should all make them ride harleys through the twisteies while we pelt them with squirt guns full of duck urine

I don't think you really missed a whole lot. I try and avoid most of the news myself.
