New (to me) machine

For those who remember it from the 2009/2010 bash, I sold my Speed Triple 1050 in September 2010, hence not being at the bash last year  - I missed you guys. I had it for two years, put about 9,000 miles on it and sold it for $300 less than what I paid for it; not too shabby! Below is my favorite pic of the Speedy and I, followed by info on it's replacement:

The replacement is a 2002 Jet Black Sprint RS. It has 16,780 one-owner miles, major service done, and I picked it up from Riverside Motorsports in Somerville, MA. It came with the color-matched seat cowl, Triumph throw over panniers, and a D&D exhaust. I'm replacing the D&D with a Two Brothers Black Series, and adding an MRA Double Bubble windscreen for now. I'm taking it to GMD CompuTrack in Bellingham, MA to have the suspension dialed in. Right now there's a good amount of stiction in the front forks and the rebound sucks. GMD will set the suspension to my weight while adding RaceTech springs and valves, all new bushings and new oil. I can't wait; initial riding impressions are that this could be one of the most underrated Triumphs, but I need to get it dialed in and get some miles under my belt.

See you at the bash!!!

Nice -- a Sprint RS is responsible for the only speeding ticket I've ever gotten on a motorcycle. :D I was test-riding it and got a little too enthusiastic with the petroleum dispensing valve. Fun bike though, and comfy!
