Obviously conversation about the Bennington Triumph Bash has been dropping off, both here and on RatNet.

Anyone have any suggestions for keeping momentum going through the winter?

We can continue working on the RIDES and AGENDA. I am sure people will come. I showed the folks at CYCLEWISE the site tonight and they should be able to service and do tire changes on a short notice.

Later!

I'm seriously considering a 904 big bore this winter :D That should make things interesting.

Mark, I'm seriously excited about it. I've been prepping my bike, and myself, for the trip (like exposing my weaknesses on rat.net so people can hammer on me about not being able to ride 1000 miles a day - hey, I'm a humble guy!). The lull is natural, but it would be good to slowly ramp up the posts each month, and then weeks to get everyone frothed up with enthusiasm. My plan is to post some question or comment about the event every now and then to keep people's minds on it.

I'm also working on the t-shirt design(s), but just haven't had much time lately.

I have committed the time off, driving thwe wife nuts talking about it. Just don't have that much to tlak about until the rides and agendas are ready to be posted. Once the snow starts the clear the way to clean roads and the riding season starts again, there will be a big push about the evnet on all of the boards.

Tito, that's good news about Cyclewise. It's a shame Frank's didn't want to be involved, but it's their loss. Maybe you should talk Joe into becoming a Triumph dealer too. :)

And yeah, I agree with everyone else -- I'm really looking forward to this event!

I think your right thats why I went ahead and rented the room and scheduled the time off figured when it got close if everyone that said they would be there the town is going to be mobbed and wouldnt be able to get a parking spot. I asked Robin if the town was going to be okay with several hundred bikes swarming the streets and she said it wouldn't be a problem. All I could invision was the police set up on Main street with the old shotguns out. Dont laugh I have been there given the option to leave Myrtle Beach or go to jail.
