There was an article in the Addison Independent yesterday talking about the construction on Route 125 on the east side of the gap - if anyone is planning a gaps ride, it'll be under construction and mostly gravel, stripped asphalt or bad asphalt and probably one lane. Plan accordingly! The article is probably online if anyone's interested - there is a link at the end of the article for progress updates but I don't have it in front of me.

Wow, good information to have. Maybe we will do a gaps ride in the Fit. Sounds a little safer.

If you have a choice between a Fit and something like a Scrambler, I'd take the Scrambler. Doing all the gaps in a Fit at something like your (or maybe Tito's!) pace would be...interesting.

At last years Indy car races one of the classes included Honda Fits and I do know they will roll if you push em hard enough. More than one driver had to correct in the museum turn to get the fourth wheel back on the ground. I think one even had two wheels up.
It would only be interesting until the screaming stopped and the flames went out.

Yeah, I've ridden 125 a couple times already this season with the east side all torn up. The Tiger handles it fine, but speeds do have to be kept down a little.
But think of how nice it will be once finished!
