Bennington Triumph Bash

I am reminded of a story - rea/unreal, I do not know - but an American and a British officer were speaking of the War of Independence, specifically the Battle of Bunker Hill. The British officer remarked in a haughty tone, "Yes, we still have the rebel flag from that engagement in a museum."
The American officer responded coolly, "Yes, but we still have the hill."
