Gentlemen: Do any of you know of the difference between a Thruxton gel seat and a 68 contemporary seat? Specifically, I am interested in the comfort of each. Also, are they entirely different, eg. the Thrux gel and the contemporary not?

I believe the 68 seat is simply a normal Thruxton seat with a different label on it. From what I've heard, the gel seats are much more comfortable. And they're also cheaper.

Check out the pics of my bike it has a thrux gel seat on it. The difference is the thrux seat has the cowl mount holes in the side and the back is more tappered into the center. I like the look of the thrux better then the stock bonne seat.
