Hedge wanted me to post this so others can see what we've got in mind.

Here goes:
We will meet at my mom's house(where I keep my bike) 3 blocks from X38 of the
Merritt Parkway(Rt15) Norwalk, CT. around 09:00-09:30 on Friday. Kickstands up
at 10:00 SHARP going North.

The route will be:
Rt 123N into WestchesterCo, NY to RT35W. Rt121N into Putnam Co NY. to Rt202/6 W
to Rt22N Dutchess Co.NY. Thru Wingdale,NY. Then E on Rt55 to Gaylordsville,Ct.
Then Rt7 N to Rt126W Falls Village for lunch at Toymakers Cafe +/- noon.

From there 7N to RT44E kinda backtracking to Winsted for Rt8 N. Thru MA to RT9W
in VT to Bennington.

This is not the fastest route, but should be a real nice ride thru the country.
About 4 hours total riding time, and is subject to change if anyone has a better idea.

Let me know what Y'all think,
Uncle Charlie

PS- Hedge and I took a nice 40 mile ride today, and it was great to be riding again!

We are leaving on Friday morning. As Charlie stated - Kickstands Up at 10am Sharp. We figure a leisurely 2 hour ride to Falls Village with lunch at ToyMakers. Depending on whether or not Greg (the owner) can get away will determine if we get the tour of his stable or just continue on our adventure. Still traveling at a leisurely pace we should roll into Bennington somewhere between 2pm - 4pm depending on what we do, how we feel, and where we stop. The word on the street so far is that UncleCharlie will turn over the lead to Bucky from Falls Village to Bennington.

Anyone who is interested in a real super back country, slow, scenic ride up to Bennington is welcome to join us either from the start in Norwalk, CT or meet us anywhere on the route. Please respond to this thread if you think you would like to ride up there with the Ugly Monkey Ass Gang! :D

We look forward to seeing you all and hope you will join us for the ride up!

Bucky all she needs from you is a card and cash. After all your only her uncle. I'm lucky my daughters is this weekend.

I can't with all certainty guarantee I'll give up the room just yet. A tornado may raze the site of the graduation, followed by my boss skipping town on my most mission critical day of the week - Friday. That's when they roll into town and my butler / concierge / slave boy duties are at peak demand to get them settled in for the weekend. If all that falls together, I'll be joining the fray to Bennington. Not likely, but one can only hope.

That damned movie - if I walk by and it's on the TV, I'm down for the duration ;-)
