Weird, but good feeling

Postby Whisperinsmith » Fri May 23, 2008 10:36 am

I just went online and had my mail held for the dates of my cross country ride. And I had to call my VISA card company to notify them in order not to be declined of purchases at camping sites or motels along the way. It felt strange but a nice sense of it getting closer. And the fact that Mistermellow is on his way certainly makes the feeling of inevitablity stronger.
One day closer to Bennington and one day closer to my ride to my daughter in L.A. (And then back!) Now I'm getting excited. One more solder on the GPS wiring just to ensure things.
See you guys in a week!

John
I am excited for you.
I am in awe with guy's journey across country and then the two of you heading out
after Bennington.
I think it is so cool to be able to do it and to have the courage to do it.
It is a once in a life time experience and most will never get to experience it.
I am sure there is a lot of planing ahead of time and it sounds like you are getting it done.
Looking forward to see you of Sunday.

I'm jealous for sure. Being in ones business has advantages but the big disadvantage means I can't get away for more than a few days at a time. My dream one day is to do the cross country. A couple of years...

On the lighter side-

5 more wake ups!!!
