Bennington Triumph Bash

Since I got to spend a little time in Bennington before and after the Bash, I had the pleasure of getting to know Bonniegirl (Robin), LoVel (Paul) and rndtaylor (Randy) better. Three of the finest people on the planet. I felt at home there. Robin is a rock solid person of high integrity, warmth and beauty. She's done a lot for Bennington and I'm sure they're going to miss her when she leaves (Sorry about the blurry pic, Robin). Paul is quiet, sharp as a tack, a keen observer of people, and has a wonderfully wry sense of humor and dead-pan delivery. (Paul, I know you don't like this picture, but I think it captures it because I can tell there's a witty comment lurking right under the surface). And last but by no means least, Randy. Could a guy have a bigger heart? Randy is a brother to all humanity, truly, and I felt that the moment I got there. Plus he's funny as hell. Anyway, this is just a special shout out to those who occupied the fort and made everyone feel especially at home and cared for. I have to say that EVERYONE I met left me wanting for more...

I had the privilege of staying at the Fort for the weekend (thanks again, Robin!). I already knew that Robin was awesome, of course, because I've known her for a couple years now. Paul and Randy are awesome as well, and it was great fun hanging out with them all weekend.

Someone needs to post Randy's poem.

The FORT was just like being at home, I was comfortable with my surroundings and Robin, Paul, Mark and Randy were a lot of fun to hang out with too, let's not forget oooobaby and Sydney.

Ton Up!

It was very kind to offer us a warm dinner along with MisterMellow since we both rolled in about the same time. He passed us somewhere in New York , He beeped his horn and I think he flipped us off . Anyway back on track here , We wish you many moons together as Husband and Wife and ride off into the sunset together...May the wind be always at your back and the Good Lord hold yous' in the palm of his hand.{Robin} hope your not disgruntled with us about the one ride we had , If I caused some uneasiness I apologize, not used to rippin' those twisties like you locals but theres always next year to sharpen up.Your quite the woman on that Bonneville Glad to have known you South street Cafe makes a mean curried chicken Sandwich on French Bread And some mean double expresso and redeye coffee ! Wheeeeee ! Paul short and sweet : you remind me of a fine Southern Gentleman and thanks for bringing up the rear for us doubled up heavy cruisers. I appreciate it . I'll get to know those roads in fact i"m going to copy them. Hopefully Donna may have a Bonnevill next year.I didn't want to get stuck up there... Edit. Guy is the one that keeps everyone laughing.

He is the coolest, most laid back creature around, and it has been a pleasure to ride with him, have him in my home, and hang out in bennington.

Riding with Paul has created a friendship that runs deeper than just motorcycles. He is a genuinely good hearted man.

Robin. What can I say?
She has got it all.

This has been a wonderful experience, just because of the wonderful people I have met.
Well, except for Tito.

Tossing butterflies at my friend
Hear their screams as their life ends

Butterfly guts, on top of gnats.

Butterfly, does not have to die
If a little higher he would fly
and he might even survive the splat
If Butterfly were ATGATT.

Prius driver, won't hit the butterfly
He should move over, or he will die
I leave him with this, as i pass
My huge carbon footprint, on his ass.

I love the prius as a toyota employee however I love the poem much more.

That really brings back some memories.

Gives a whole new meaning to butterfly kisses.

It was great riding with you, Paul.

We will have to explore some more together

i knew that I've alway had some twisted thoughts when i'd been alone in my helmet for a while. I thought it was just me. Now I know I'm not alone.

Randy just kept his long enough to get them in print...
