I like all bikes!

I ride the following;

1974 BMW R90/6 for long distance riding and camping, great Rally bike.

1983 Suzuki GS1100ED, set up as a Cafe racer/ Dragster, very loud and intimidating.

2007 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 all around bike, all weather, dual purpose, light agile, long range one or two up.

I do love my Speed Triple but I love to ride all bikes!

So tell us more about your other bikes!

Tito

My bikes are limited right now.

My rides are:

1981 Honda CB750 custom. (my first bike)

2005 Kawasaki ZX6r 636 wife's bike, but I like riding it on the twisties. although at 6"3" I look rather funny riding a small bike like that I can;t resist though, it is a very fast fun bike.

In the stables are:

1969 harley davidson xlch chopper (6 foot front forks) I want to make a british cafe racer out of it!! Every harley owner would freak out.

1982 Yamaha Virago 750

!982 Honda CB 900

My BA is my first and only bike, but I have a pretty nasty mountain bike too :D Currently my power tool addiction is overriding my second bike need.

Be careful while snapping the throttle open on your new SPEED TRIPLE on the 3 lower gears, the front wheel likes to point skyward! LOL I do like your Honda 650, Mark has one and it really handles well on the twisties.

Tito just beat me to it. My other bike is a 2003 Honda XR650L dual-sport. In fact, with temps climbing into the 40s today, I'm going to go put the battery back in and go for a ride on it this afternoon!

In the spring I'll be picking up a V-Strom 650.

I'd love to pick up an S3.... in my dreams. More realistically would be like a Bandit 1200 or something along those lines.

realy?

I'm curious. why is the Suzuki "more realistic"? is it the price? The Triumphs have proven to be reliable and similar to the Far Eastern (is that PC?) in service and maintenance costs. The only bikes that are "more reasonable" are older BMWs and any bike with threaded valve adjusters.

I currently ride my 06 America. Black of course.

Other bikes I've owned and loved ( but not as much as my Trumpet):

Started off on a 250 Honda Rebel, for about 2 months to get my riding legs.
Then my 1984 1100 Sportster.
Then my 92 HD Lowrider
Then my 2nd favorite bike of ever...my 79 HD Shovelhead, I designed it while I was pregnant with my daughter, having sold my Lowrider in 93, thinking I was never going to ride my own bike now that I was going to be a mother...Yeah right! I had the shovel all set up as a REAL old school chopper....king/queen seat, springer front end, mini apes ( for my delicate dainty self), kick/electric start, spectacular pearl white paint with gorgeous flames on the tank and bobbed fenders. Heavy sigh. To this day I miss that bike. She was a hard ride, but was very special.

After my daughter's Dad and I divorced, I sold my Shovel to my borther in law, who showed up at my house with a handful of cash....At the time, my need for diapers and baby food was stronger than my need for a bike.

Then a few years later I picked up a 650 Honda Rebel, rode it for a season.
Then my 2001 1200C Sporty- great bike, but a stiff ride. Not great for touring and long rides, which now that my daughter is a teen, I have more time for.

I was looking for a new bike...A friend said "Check out the Triumphs!'. One demo ride and I did the deal that day for my America. :)
