The rain is pissing us off... we're protesting by ignoring anything that reminds us that we'd rather be riding.

I pulled the Sprint out, went about 200 miles, going;
15 East when that ended, 2 East, 91 North, 5 North, 58 West, 100 South, 100c South/west and then 15 East back home. I'm pooped and my wrist was killing me - I need bigger grips on that bike...

I was in VT riding in the rain this weekend too. I wanted to do the App Gap but it was pouring north of Rt 4 so I turned back.

Speed you are such a cunning linguist.
Robin and I did about 200 miles this past weekend. We went to The Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament. Built by a little old nun named Mother Angelica.

Believe it or not this 17th century style church is in the middle of nowhere Alabama. It is quite an awesome site.

Well, I'll be honest, I have wimped out after 40 days of cloud cover and rain. Of course we are talking about northern maine. I have also been training for a marathon. I run every morning, so I'm very exhausted when i get back and don't feel like riding.

pathetic I know. Besides the family stuff and problems with the house have hindered me also.
I'm glad MEME is only two weeks away, then a 10 day vacation to Colorado bowling tournament. I really need a break.
this is global warming!?!?!

Tito & friends:
I've been commuting in the f-ing rain and NYSDOT has been laying road snakes like a hillbilly lays his sister. Good news is I can navigate a good turn with rubber traps like Rossi navigates Phillip Island!! (If you can't slide it don't ride i!)... My eldest is going to R.P.I. in Troy N.Y...........Vermont is 30 minutes away!!!

Hey Dave, know what ya mean but instead of commuting I'm riding around looking at rain clouds on the weekend then going in another direction. Last weekend I literely had lightning coming down in back of me and believe it that thats a real motivator to ride it like ya stole it but I didn't steal it so I was wondering whether the lighning strike was gonna hurt as bad as the potential wreck I was heading for. Good news; I found a great bar and stayed there getting comfortably numb while the thunderstorm passed over. I don't mind the rain so much but I can't stand washing my bike. We are the people who fun regardless.
Cheers, Touko

Havn't been doing any riding at all........had a couple of sunny days but had an odd accident. My bro t-boned me at an intersection and I busted up some ribs and lacerated my spleen...5 days in the hospital getting blood in and dumping it out my abdomen from internal bleeding...thought my left leg was busted in a couple of places but turned out to be only bruised up. My ankle caught a ton of hell and ended up being sprained. Insurance totaled the bike which I promply bought back from them and am putting back together...should be ridable in a few weeks after I get my new (used) tank and get the paint done.
Cheers!
