Not camping.
Have the rates for the Paradise and Kirkside been negotiated yet? I want to make my reservation for George and I at the Paradise again.
Is it Bennington yet? Today G and I are heading down to RI for the Precision Triumph Open House. This winter business of only being able to daydream about riding is getting old.....

Too camp or not to camp? The answer lies in the forecast for me. Hey Paula weren't the rooms about 70 last year? I paid 100 the year before but don't know if the room was an upgrade as there was a sauna in it which never got used cause I thought it was a closet and only found it when I was leaving. Damn beer goggles.
So is Triumph opening a store in RI. ? I'll be interested to know what you guys think about it as it would be a good excuse for a ride to the ocean state.

I'm waiting for the group rate also. The Paradise was fine for us last year.

Last year the Paradise offered a discounted rate of $70.00 based on an estimate of ~15- 20 rooms being used. If I can get a feel for how many we'll use this year, I'll call them to negotiate.

Hey, hey Paula..
How was that new Triumph dealership in Pawtucket?

Marty, if you're willing to take care of that, I'd be most grateful, and I know Robin and Tito would be too!
Thanks!

I'm in for the Paradise for one room , arriving excitedly on Thursday, leaving despondently on Sunday.
Hi Marty! Are we on to ride up again with Bat Out of Hell Bill? I'm a little zippier on my Bonneville....
Todd and Marty- The Precision Triumph dealership....a room in one of their side buildings, a small sampling of the range of Triumph bikes, very nice, minimal accessories yet...the 2 service guys
(pulled from the HD side) just got back from Georgia for their service training, so i don't think I''d bring my bike there for any type of service until they've proven themselves mechanically. I was customer #1, with my purchase of a Steve McQueen ladies T-shirt.
I am really happy that there's another Triumph dealership available to help promote Triumph. As far as Precision is concerned, I bought 2 of my HDs there and never had trouble with thier service, felt treated well by both sales and service. Other folks I know spit when someone says "Precision in Pawtucket' (which seems to be the way it is with MC dealerships).
Is it Bennington yet?

I'm still up in the air about possibly camping. Even with a decent pad, I think my back will revolt! So hopefully the Paradise or Kirkside will come back with good prices. You would think they would with the economy sucking!

Hey Matt...too bad Ed isn't coming with his Honda Ridgeline pickup so you could sleep in the backseat like I did at the fall Triumph rally and set off the loudest car/truck alarm I've ever heard on earth...pretty near scared me and everyone else to death but Bucky didn't even wake up in his chair by the fire....lol...I still laugh thinking about that night

Isn't it the rules that first time attendees from PA have to buy dinner?

Thanks for the warm welcomes.
I found your event posting on the Triumphrat.net site last year & we decided this looks like the kind of thing we'd be interested in. Not too big, organized or far away.
Yes, we're from PA (Lehigh Valley).
Have an '07 Bonnie Black, slightly farkled.
We love the Green Mountains/Adirondaks regions.
See ya all soon.......

Came down through that area a couple years ago. Used 209 from Port Jervis down to 33 and then to 22. That piece of 209 was excellent. One thing impressed me right away with PA. I cross over into the state and start seeing signs everywhere for beer. Do you guys not drink water over there? lol Seriously, it was really noticable and it gets to ya after a while; had I not so far to go in so much time I would have detoured to Pottsville and got me some fresh Yuengling. Definetely next time.
