Hey Dano
Welcome to the Bash you might want to get an earlier start so you can make the meet & greet.
Then we head out on a pretty nice ride for some BBQ.
Do you know Bluejay and Bonnelass? They come from down your way In Maryland.
They both ride Bonneville's.

Very good, and by the way read the stick and loved the statement "we do not have a language censor enabled"
I guess i'll have to meet up with those bastard some fucking time soon, i hope they arent fuck'n dickheads, well i am a dickhead so maybe it would be good if they are too.
Bonnies huh, i am not a first time Triumph owner, my last bike before the Beemer was a 02' Tiger in gourgeous roulette green, so i am happy to be getting back an a familiar brand.
I am thinking maybe i will take friday off just to make some time, but i have a friend going as well, so alot depends on that, She rides a Honda cbr600rr, tried to get her ass on a Daytona, but the dealer wouldn't budge on the price.
Anyhoo, gtg, chat soon.

Welcome, Dano!

Definitely try to push for Friday off for both you and your friend. I'd recommend leaving Thursday afternoon if possible and making the push up to Bennington, or at least close enough that you can ride the rest of the way Friday morning and make it in time for the Meet & Greet and the ride over to the BBQ place.

By the way, I grew up in Maryland, and my parents lived in Rockville until last fall, when they moved over to Leesburg, VA. So I know the roads between here and there pretty well. Let me know if you want some route recommendations for staying off the slab.

From what I understand they don't give you too much shit if you ride a Honda.

Great Mark i will keep that in mind, If i would have saved the reciepts i easily could have gotten an Iron Butt, but hindsight is always 20/20, i did 1250 miles in 24 hours ride time, done over 28 hours, but i slept in Ashville NC from Chicago to Severn here, when i left Chicago it was 17 degrees, when i got here the warmest it got was 36 degrees, But the BMW is a cheater bike with Heated seats, grips, cruise, and the electric windsheild, i will miss it, but now i have to try for that grand on this bike,,,scary thought huh!
The SLAB isnt all that bad, i do want to see NYC but i may want to wait for another trip to do that, i will pm you as we get closer.
Thanks,
Dano

Welcome
