Are you a camper?

I love top camp on my motorcycle. I have the compact tent, therma rest, sleeping bag, dual fuel stove, waterproof bags, and the worlds most expensive beer coolers! LOL (aluminum cases or BMW bags)

Do you like to camp?

I own horses and with horses comes camping sleeping under the stars cowboy stuff. But have never done it off a motorcycle. How do you carry all the gear with a bike? It sounds cool .

I carry a lot of gear in my Dry Seal bags and side cases, the tank bag is quite roomy as well.

It looks like you get into it. I live right near the split in the highway which leads you to Ocean City MD and I see Goldwingers with those matching trailers pulled behind to hold all the camping gear. I like my bikes light and nimble but I think anything is worth doing once.

I have 2 bikes set up for camping and long distance riding (1,500-2,000 mile weekends) A old BMW and my Small V-Strom. It is agile, nimble, powerful and great on gas, It can carry a passenger a a lot of gear. Quite the pack mule. :-)

I have to take the S3 apart and fix the forks (from wheelies and slaming the front down) and the engine is missing really bad backfiring out the left pipe sounds like a valve train issue but when its done I might think about getting some gear for the BVille and give it a try.

Camping is fun, but I haven't done it in years. But with the V-Strom being added to the stable this spring, I'll need to check/update my camping gear as well, because I'm not going to be able to afford to stay in motels every night when I tour this summer!

Wasnt me Tito I left the wheelies when I got rid of my CBR900RR it was the young kid that own this thing. He must have slammed it down I put it in the truck and fork oil just run everywhere when I strap it down seals are shot. I can put the front tire against a wall and rock the head bearings about a 1/2 inch so she is going to come apart. It is a 06 S3 in black with one bald rear tire and tits still on the front and it has been dropped twice his mom said but I bought it for $2600 a $100 more then the dealership offered them for a trade in. So I figured another $1500 and I should have her back to perfect shape frame is okay but brake pedal has been bent and foot peg is all messed up so it will take time and parts.

Jimmy!

Sounds like you have a pretty good deal. Headstock bearing, a tune up, and a rear tire! Sounds like a plan! You are going to love that bike.
