So begins the most comprehensive study of weather data

I have more tabs open than you can shake a green screen remote at.

Not looking at weather for Friday and Saturday, mind you, (which of course will be fabulous) but for tonight and tomorrow. The radar is quite wild, and that wall of shite over Indiana is guaranteed to land on me as soon as I'm pitching my tent in the Adirondacks tonight. Boo.

But the stuff behind it looks more promising. I'm heading out tomorrow instead. And it's such an incredible morning here too, and probably a great riding day in advance of that front. Just a soggy night no matter how you slice it :-(.

Rain is supposed to move through Vermont starting late this evening, through tomorrow morning. Probably a wise choice to wait till it's passed.

I have a little work to do on the Bonneville before I leave -- oil change and installation of new handlebars. Was going to do it tomorrow morning, but I'm going to try to squeeze it in tonight instead so I can just wait for the rain to stop tomorrow, then ride down to Bennington.

Weather forecast for Friday is excellent, and Saturday is looking a bit cloudy but only 20-30% chance of a few showers. 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms on Sunday.

Hopefully. Forecast for Bennington is 50% chance of showers through most of Thursday. Hopefully it will improve. Up here in Burlington it's supposed to be dry by mid-afternoon.

Hey Bill, I'll be heading up on Friday. I took last week off and can't sneak out any earlier this week. I'll be staying at the motel right in front of the Paradise, Midtown or something like that.
I wish I could ride up with you, but maybe we can get together for the ride back. I'll see you Friday afternoon at the meet and greet.
Ride safe.

Okay Bill!

Tito, I'm sorry I didn't reply to your recent email about showing up at the Bash. My new little granddaughter was here and I didn't look at any "electronic communication" for a week! By the way (wrong post), congrats for your son! Great job dad.

See you guys soon.

Water, water and oil that is. Remember we're riding bikes that mark their territory with oil spots.
