No connection other than I know lots of folks want to go there. And Bill Wilson was my grandmother's cousin, so I kinda want to check it out too!

And you got too much sun... :D

I have a ram mount for my camcorder on the bike.. still playing with placements.. right now I have it on the bars but it is out in the wind and jittering too much... I'll try a placement that gets it out of the wind.. I am also going to try a piece of foam over the mike to reduce wind noise... is the road in question dirt??

ride check

Postby WhistlingFool » Thu Mar 26, 2009 12:50 pm

I also have a Oregon Scientific bullet cam...

Is anyone doing road checks on the planned groups rides in the days before the event to make sure there are no surprises, construction bad conditions etc?

I'll be in VT this weekend, but not sure I'll get up there before the bash. My good friend Jeremy (some of you met him last year) lives literally next door to the mountain road, so I can have him scout it out for me maybe.

I went up there last year and it was awesome even though it was not a very clear day.

It is a very twisty road and I went up it very fast....LOL

I would love to go up there on a nice clear, warm , sunny day.

It's so nice on a clear day! Sunsets are amazing up there too. I've never ridden it on the bike, driven it probably a dozen times tho.

At the rate we are going with it going down to 32 degrees in Alabama tonight the mountain may still be snowed in the Thursday before the bash.
I am an individual. Just like everyone else.
