We definitely need to convince Alex to come out on some longer rides with us, and hopefully he'll come to the BTB.

Mark,

I just figured out that I have Red Sox tickets for that weekend so It looks like I won't be coming to the bash. I may ride down Friday and hang out for a bit and ride back that night.

Maybe you could trade your Sox tickets for another weekend...?

Otherwise, ride down with me Thursday afternoon, camp, hang out and ride with us on Friday, then head home after dinner Friday evening if you need to.

Trading tickets isn't really an option. Husbands AKA has a show that Thursday night and I have friends staying over that are on tour. I'll probally jump on the bike early friday morning and head down for the day and come home late friday, or leave for boston from there saturday.

No... what made you think Chris is a girl?

Chris, leaving for Boston from Bennington on Saturday is a good idea. It'll save you a lot of driving, since Bennington's much closer to Boston than Burlington is anyway.

Hi all, new guy here from Eliot, ME.

Still need to ask the wife for permission to make this, but hopefully I can work things out. I'm signed up to do a dual sport ride in Western, MA a couple weeks before, so it may get tricky. Or maybe I'll ditch that one for this...

Any dirt rides planned?

Hey Pat, welcome and you can tell the wife what I tell mine. Baby, you need a break from me so I'm gonna go on a run this weekend. Throw in a couple gift certificates to her favorite stores and she'll thank ya for leaving. LOL

I'm jealous. I want a Steamer.

I'm not very familiar with the roads that far south in Vermont, but I was thinking about trying to put together a dirt-road ride for the Tigers and Scramblers anyway.

Nice! I could put together a bunch of dotted lines, too, if there's interest. Wouldn't be able to scout anything beforehand, but if we get turned back so-be-it. I remember reading a long time ago of some pretty gnarly stuff off Burgess road...could at least be a place to avoid!!!

I miss my Scrambler - best dirtbike I've ever owned (it's probably happy to have a new owner, though!)

My parents live on a dirt road... but it's only a half mile long :D Kellystand road over to Stratton is cool, not terribly gnarly tho. There's some nice stuff in Sandgate too. Not far. there's a couple trails up some of the mountains, but they can get steep, more jeep trails than scrambler stuff I would think, but I dunno.
02 BA, lots of goodies...
I may live in NY, but I grew up in VT! I'm a local for this one...
