Milo's Ride 5/29/09

Postby TonUp » Sun Apr 12, 2009 7:27 pm

The BBQ ride on Friday May 29th will be dedicated to our missing brother Milo. We would like to get a $10 donation from each person and donate the money in Milo's behalf to Heifer International.

http://www.heifer.org/

I have been talking to Nisha about us doing something nice in his memory. And here is a bit of information she wanted to share with us

"So Milo was actually Ken Wicks, he rode an 89 triumph adventurer, he was a blacksmith and fly fisherman....He was a happy dude who totally loved his bikes!! Loved to ride in India took an Enfield up to 18000 ft in the Himalayas. Thanks again for doing this!
Nisha"

Let's all celebrate Milo!!!

Sincerely,

Tito

Awesome idea!! Anyone who wants to can even swing into Orvis and check out some fly rods :D He's a great guy for us to remember, it's a great idea, a great charity to support, and an absolute honor to have Nisha with us again this year!
02 BA, lots of goodies...
I may live in NY, but I grew up in VT! I'm a local for this one...

Got your call my alter-Ego , LoL , Thanks for the happy Easter greeting from you and from
Todd.
+ 1 here. For Nisha and their child.
I remember her and talked with her , briefly.... with Hedge out in front of the Saloon,
Downtown Bennington that Sat. night with all the Hulla baloo.
I think I might have made mention of something towards Milo , glad to see it
materialize. Speed.

Sounds like a good deal Tito. What animal would we want to give? Remember we have to raise enough money for whatever you select. I vote for the Llama.

I'm in for both the ride and remembering Milo. I am an advid flyfisherman so first cast this spring will be for Ken because I know God will keep him on the rising fish all day long now.

Thank you Tito and Nisha
