To Robin, Mark and Tito

As some of you may know, Robin was the inspiration for our gathering in my initial "here's a thought" post on the RAT site. She and Mark and Tito have done so much to make this event special for all of us. I'd like to take this time when I know everyone is still reading our posts and not on the road (except Mistermellow!) to acknowledge all the work they've done to make us feel welcome and to ensure we have great rides, entertainment and generally feel a warm Vermont welcome.

To Robin, Mark and Tito, thanks for all your efforts and time spent to make this event so very special.

Yes thanks : Robin,Mark,Tito , Bill and everyone else involved. I don't normally travel 700 and some odd miles to a gathering but after getting to know all of you Brothers and Sisters and the time that was spent rapping to all of you , I feel like I've known most of you my whole life.. Donna and I are looking forward to this as we didn't get to do anything for our tenth anniversary due to a family illness. This will be a success I just feel it. Thanks Again All. Speed. :)

Whisper thunk it, Robin inspired it, and Mark, Tito, and everyone else on the "committee" worked their asses off to make this happen. I'm half way there because of you guys and gals! I can't wait, I can't wait. Okay, I can wait, but I'm going to wait on my bike!

To my friends!

Postby TonUp » Sun Jun 15, 2008 12:18 am

I am very fortunate to be able to ride with Robin & Mark, we all belong to the VT Champlain Valley RAT Pack and over the last couple of years I have had the pleasure to share a cup of coffee, a meal and always an incredible ride with them. They have always made me feel welcome and have always embraced my ideas, even my not so great ones. I look forward into riding and sharing a cup of java with them for many more years to come.

We are all very lucky to have Robins inspiration and Mark's vision to make the Bennington BASH a great success. They are wonderful caring people who are also my friends.

I really wanted to thank them both and also Whisper for having such a wonderful thought.

Thank you!
Muchas Gracias!

Tito

My time in Vermont for the bash, pre and post bash, has been such a fun and wonderful experience. I do not know how much effort each one of these three put into this, but what I saw transpired so smoothly, it had to require no small amount of effort to make it work so well.

Thank you to my new friends, for all you did to make me feel welcome, and for sharing your beautiful corner of the world with me.

As our adopted tennessee boy, Elvis, was fond of saying, "Thankyouthankyouverymuch."

On that point, I have to thank everyone who attended the Bash. Each person was an adult and made it easy to pull off a great event. If the crowd had been difficult to deal with, all our plans would have fallen apart.

And Tito, most of your ideas are good ones! :) I'm looking forward to lots of great rides, cups of coffee, and meals in the future.

Thanks Robin, Mark and Tito. I know i met Robin last year, might have met Tito and not sure about Mark - I am terrible with remembering names and faces and I was just having too great a time to worry about meeting everyone. This year I'll try to do better and make it a point to meet everyone. Name tags are helpful, so hopefully someone will remember to bring some. See you all next week!!!

We will be wearing our DUCK tape name tags on Friday with our first name and our handle.

Thanks!

We are going to have an even better time this year!
