BBQ

Postby TonUp » Fri May 22, 2009 11:51 am

Seth!

Check out the itinerary!

2:30pm: Meet in the parking lot that runs between Depot Street and River Street in downtown Bennington (south end of the lot -- if you attended the BTB last year, this is the same lot where we had the Friday Meet&Greet). We will spend a short time hanging out and saying hi to everyone, then at 3pm it’s kickstands up and hit the road for a ride over to the Top of the Hill Grill in Brattleboro.

This will be a memorial ride for 321milo, aka Ken Wicks, discussion forum member and one of last year’s attendees, who tragically lost his life a short time after the BTB. We’re encouraging everyone to make a $10 donation, which will go to Heifer International.

If 2:30 in Bennington is too early for you to make it, feel free to meet up with us at the Top of the Hill Grill in Brattleboro at 5pm instead.

We’ll have dinner at the Top of the Hill Grill (please let us know your preference of food in this forum thread so we can let the restaurant know what to expect), hang out for a while, then ride back to Bennington. Those of us who are camping will have a party/campfire at Greenwood Campsites; if you’re staying in town but would like to hang out with us, we’d love to have you join us, just be aware that Greenwood does charge an entry fee for visitors. If interest is high enough, we will try to organize a shuttle bus or taxi service to get you from Bennington to the campground and back -- we don’t want peopl

BBQ

Postby TonUp » Fri May 22, 2009 1:37 pm

So far it looks like, 15 ribs, 7 pulled pork, 2 chicken, and 1 veggie. Plus Seth's group and more. I called Jonathan at the TOP OF THE HILL BBQ and gave him a heads up. He said to call him back next Wednesday to confirm. We can park at his place and also at the lot next door "LOTUS GRAPHICS"

Thanks!
