From 12 to 3 days left , anybody feel the rush. (Fri.)

Have questions about the event or the area? Want to plan a ride in with others who are coming? Here's the place for it.

If riding around town with bags fully loaded and tent gear on top to see if it all straps down properly is "feeling the rush" then; Yes, I do believe I am. A little over the top with the prep but I made some bag holders that allow for quick on off the bike without all the hassle of undoing the straps. Just had to make sure they work and I'm not about to loose any laundry on the trip. Read a story recently of a guy who got to his destination all the while wondering why his bike seemed to be handling better only to find out he had lost most of his stuff along the way. Can never have enough bungy.

Yep - can't wait. I'm just figuring out what luggage configuration to go with on the Thrux. I have the OEM tank bag which can hold my jacket and pant liners, as well as an extra faceshield. I'll probably just bungee a duffel to the rear seat with my clothes and personal stuff.

So, Speed blastr, when do you leave from Indiana? Looks like a long trip. Trailering the motorcycle?
