Motorcycle shops near Portsmouth NH

Postby sevy » Fri Jun 12, 2009 3:26 pm

Hi folks,
I am going to Portsmouth tomorrow to ride back my buddy's new Triumph Legend. I already located Great Bay Triumph, so he can stop and get some oil filters, but he needs a helmet and other gear as well, and I was wondering if there were any big shops with lots of inventory in case he can't find everything he needs at Great Bay? By the way, we're coming from Glens Falls NY, so will be coming down from the north in case there are any shops along the way you'd like to mention. Thanks!

The guys at Great Bay were very nice, and had actually sold and maintained the 2000 Legend that my buddy bought up the road in Portsmouth. About 5000 miles, and all stock, and I rode it home for him yesterday. We returned via route 4, then 4A, then 89 and back across to Rutland from White River Junction. I got soaked for the last 30 minutes of the ride, from Whitehall back to Glens Falls, as I was too lazy to stop and put on my rain gear. In any case, a great day for riding, some beautiful roads, and a new 2010 Bash attendee on his beautiful Imperial Green 2000 Legend!
