on my way to Bennington this year, my oldest son called to tell me that his 28 year old wife has stage 2 lymphoma and was starting chemo that weekend and could I watch the 4 grandkids when I get back.
3 chemo sessions later and there are NO HOT (active) CELLS!!!
3 more sessions to go and we expect a total recovery

I have a hangover today

Fantastic! Congrats! I hope this is becoming a trend.

My friend Ren recently had testicular cancer that metastasized to his lungs. He had the affected ball removed and a couple of rounds of chemo to kill off the cancer in his lungs, and he now has a clean bill of health.

My friend Dan recently had prostate cancer and went through a couple of rounds of radiation to get rid of it; his final tests are coming up, but the preliminary ones indicate that he kicked it.

I like hearing stories of people kicking cancer's ass.
