Spoken like a true Alabamian...give me a "pack of ribs" (aka PBR)

Tito..is there going to be any Newcastle Brown Ale at the Paradise parking lot meet and greet? It should be named as the official beer of the BTB...properly British and all

I was a bit surprised at the speeds we were carrying butt never saw any police on the highway...surely they must be gearing up for us this year

Yes Paul!

The gas station at the light past the Kirkside on the way to downtown is within walking distance and they carry all kids of great beers including NEWCASTLE. We also need to find some UBU beer from Lake Placid NY. YUM YUM!

And yes police activity has been on the rise! We did break 150 mph on our ride many times last year and most of the WHEELIES were at over the TON. We might have to tone it down a little this year!

Alan, Thanks for the offer to bring up some yuenglings. I'm going to be camping and I just have to remember if we meet up at the pre-ride, gotta make some space in the saddlebags for a six pack. Last year I think I drank one or two Yuenglings and shared the rest as everyone kept asking "can I have one?". PBR's are actually not bad. I usually just drink bud, but PBR will make do if that's what's available.

I wonder if it would be cheaper if the Rockers picked up a keg of something (assuming they have a truck) and charged everyone a couple bucks to drink off it?

Boss Ed might get upset about the lack of returns which I understand is how he actuall makes most of his money.

We are getting closer to catching up with the rest of the world on beer. A big step last year was passage of the gourmet beer bill. This year we are again attempting to update some of the laws in Alabama. The site below has been the major player in the battle.

http://www.freethehops.org/

Currently to brew beer in AL you must brew the beer in a county in which liquor was legally available before prohibition(not as many as you would think. We still have several dry counties here) and the beer must be brewed in a building that is on the national historic register.
I am an individual. Just like everyone else.
