No Fast Rdie???

Postby Rockers CT » Fri Apr 23, 2010 4:15 pm

OK seeing as there is not more fast ride planned for the event.. I propose that Tito leads a short fast 100 mile ride out and around bennington. That way all the fasties get to go fast and still may get in on another group type of ride aswell..

What say you???

I'll leave it up to Tito, but be advised that one of the reasons we're taking it easier is because police presence and enforcement is way up.

I know Tito will be leading a ride, but he's still working out a route.

You guys can always come along on the Adirondacks Ride, which features some amazing twisties.

I am so plesed that I participated in last year's "fast ride"; it was fantastic
Tito knew what he was doing and we got away with riiding as fast as we dared on some great roads
I'm only 61 so its not time to slow down yet

I trust Tito. If he says no fast ride I have no problem with that. I trusted him year one and I think most of us rode faster in the rain and wet than we ever had and there were no problems. That was an exciting ride.

Does that also mean no more stand up third gear wheelies?

FAST Ride!

Postby TonUp » Mon Apr 26, 2010 1:16 pm

We are having a fast ride but a slightly or totally different different route. Mark and I talkled about it. Some VT roads are in very rough shape and I am allergic to the VSP (VT State Police)

SETH Hope you can come out to play

Dr Lapo and wild sons I hope you can ride with us again NO CHICKEN STRIPS on our ride

Ogre bring your camera and capture some memorable riding!

Paul my brother there will be some third gear stand-up wheelies

We are going to have fun just like we always do! Big smiles great roads and an exhilarating ride. Breathtaking and Fun! While maintaining a high level of safety, control and skill.

I am working on it! Hope you like what I have in mind!

I rode it last year on my thruxton and had a blast
the "wild sons" are ready to go and are insisting I bring the Speed Triple this year so I'm not so slow

I probably will not be doing that ride as there are others to choose from.

Yeah, some of us don't want to risk losing our license, but still like to scrape pegs in the twisties... that's what the Adirondacks Ride is for. :)

I don't want to loose my license either! I guess I was tired when I posted after working all weekend.

We will have short bursts of speed!

Hey Tito..here's an idea...How about some good ole cold tire smokin' burnouts at our gathering place...We could do it as a large group...That should make our presence known

I love doing burn outs but downtown Bennington might not be the right place. We don't want to attract local PD or give the BASH a bad name downtown. A little one here and there is one thing but an all out burn out fest spells trouble.

I am sure you will see some! :-) Especially away from town.

CHEERS!

I just edited my post to make it a little milder and more responsible! Sorry about my out rage earlier! I have not ridden the Triumph yet and I am very anxious! Hope you accept my apology for my HOOLIGAN behavior!

Thanks!
