last year's ride was FAST but I never felt pressurred or out of my league
I rode as fast as I could, comfortably. Tito was there to keep us in line and let us know where the old Bill was lerking.
Tito and my son , Doug, even put the front wheels back down, at 80mph, before cresting the rise where the VSP were hiding

Tito,

Sounds great to me.

Dr. Lapo,

Speaking as the person who was riding at the back last year. I don't remember you being that slow. Seems to me that Thruxton was pretty quick.

Hey Tito...I had a big bag of good cigars last year...did you miss out on them? I've already had several requests to bring them again this year...I'll make sure you get whatever you need...I only smoke them for mental health reasons personally

That's what I drink gin and scotch for. Not at the same time, though.

Well I'm planning on coming out this year. I came the first year and did the "fast" ride in the rain. I love the fast pace, but my license just can't handle another ticket- especially one we'd probably not be able to talk our way out of.

I believe I'll be taking the adirondacks ride, that way my multiple oil leaks won't pollute the state of VT...

The anxiety is beginning to set in, I really look forward to spending some quality time with you all, stories, cigars, laughs with all be the norm, and safe riding i can adhere to once in awhile, 3rd gear wheelies, i can not do yet, still working on my first to second gear wheelies, but i do need to behave alittle as i am many miles from home, Your a crazy bunch and i am starting to think you are all crazier than myself!

Slow and steady wins the race...but FUCK THAT!
[Actually, I am somewhat of a nervous sort at high speed - chicken, you might say, LOL!]
