FRIENDS

Postby TonUp » Tue May 11, 2010 3:17 pm

Are you tired of those
sissy 'friendship' poems
that always sound good,
but never actually come close
to reality?
Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of
True Friendship.
You WON'T see
cutesy little smiley faces
on this card-
Just the stone cold truth
of our great friendship.

1. When you are sad,
I will jump on the person
who made you sad
like a spider monkey
jacked up on Mountain Dew!!!

2. When you are blue,
I will try to dislodge
whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile,
I will know you are
plotting something
that I must be involved in.

4. When you're scared,
we will high tail it out of here.

5. When you are worried,
I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse
it could be until you
quit whining, ya big baby!!!!

6.. When you are confused,
I will use little words.

7. When you are sick,
Stay away from me
until you are well again.
I don't want whatever you have....

8. When you fall,
I'll pick you up
and dust you off--
After I laugh!!!

9. This is my oath....
I pledge it to the end..
'Why?' you may ask;
-- because you are my FRIEND!
***********************
Friendship is like peeing your pants,
everyone can see it,
but only YOU
can feel the
true warmth.
**********************

Hey Tito
What’s so funny about being my friend?
I tried therapy but it was driving me crazy.
See you in a couple of weeks my friend.

Bill!
I like that you are honest (except when pulled over by the cops) and always say what is on your mind!

See you soon my friend!

Hi guyz...my guess is he skated with the funds in the last market meltdown and grew a mustache.

glad to see the bash has legs.

I had a mondo-weird back episode this winter... I guess age has taken over and I'll not ever make it to the party, but my heart is there.

Just this AM I remembered this is the season, so I thought I'd check in.

Mark, I just read your W Va. trip post...had I known I would have offered my SW Pa. crib for a refresh stop. Nice roads down this hill-billy way eh?

We will miss you! Can you drive over for the Saturday night party?

Rode PA Route 144 Elk Scenic Highway 2 times last year, awesome road.

not in the immediate future...some bastard took my jeep apart...

on the good side, it WILL boogie once again and the trailer patiently awaits should I get a second wind...hide the women.

as an update, this winter I made the perfect seat for the Bonneville that works around that rediculous hump at the tailbone...it's a flat aluminum pan for changing position, skinny at the front for dirt bike legs... 2 feet flat at stops, and tractor seat-ish for the butt cup back with a gel pad...as well as flips up either side with a tasty storage spot above the lowered battery... I haven't been posting these innovations on the net, but I have been busy. I don't mind posting them here... I'll work towards some pics if folks would like some seat porn.
