Hey guys, I'm leaving tomorrow morning on a week-long motorcycle trip (West Virginia, Great Smoky Mtns, Blue Ridge Parkway), so I'm going to set forum registrations back to automated. This means that some spambots will probably make it through the registration process and put up posts.

I'll try to check in occasionally during the trip, and at any rate I'll clean up their mess when I get back. So please just ignore them as best you can.

Thanks.

Wow, what a road trip! All those twist and turns on the BRPW. Might want to stash some extra pegs so ya got something to put ya feet on for the ride home. LOL

I'm back, and in one piece no less. Three out of four of us crashed, none too seriously, we all picked the bikes up (in Keith's case it had to be winched out of a ravine), started them up, and kept going. Awesome trip. The roads down there are insane and make Vermont twisties look kind of pathetic.

I'll be posting up a full ride report on ADVrider, but it'll take me a while. I'll post a link here once it's done.

Paul, at least two of the three crashes actually happened at or below the speed limit. Just pure dumb luck. Details are in the ride report.

Great ride/ride report! I'll be mirroring a small portion or your route in a few weeks(not the real fun stuff) when I come up to the BTB. I'm hoping that 209 isn't too boring.

As usual great job on the ride report. You should be a writer awesome report.
You are most definitely the adventure rider.
Man you guys were putting on some miles every day.
I would need a week to recoup after that many miles.

Looking forward to seeing you in just a few more weeks.
