Bonneville mini tour

Postby schuitz » Thu Oct 28, 2010 2:23 pm

In September I rolled 10,280 miles across North America and back. Picked up the wife in Calgary, rode for three weeks 2-up, and kicked her off in Denver. Six weeks out total. Thought you ladies might get a kick out of the report.

Got about 76,000km on the clock now.
Unfortunately only half are mine
so Billy is still winner

cheers

Mike

What an awesome ride report.
I enjoyed reading all of it and the pictures are excellent.
You are by far the winner with your last 10,000 miles.
What a great adventure and you have an awesome wife for her to join you on part of the ride.
Sorry to hear about your cat very sad indeed.
Hope to see you and hear more about your trip at BTB 2011

Thanks for shearing your ride with us.

Ha, dig the patch, I kind of forget it's there. Sharp eye. I think you found the only image in which it appears. Too bad it didn't make into my Night of the Living Dead shots, wrong arm :)

Something else, below the helmet (near Mt. Shasta, CA, click through)...

Yip I am a lucky sod with a great riding partner. Unfortunately BTB is always during a no-fly zone in her vacation time - heartworm season for veterinarians is like tax time for accountants. So she will have to be content with my second hand tales of you FFs.

mark I am getting a chuckle seeing you weighing in on the tiger 800 threads where I find myself browsing these days... great minds...
