Just got an email from Triumph about that. It's a 3hr 20 min ride, though.

Yeah Don was telling me about the truck being there the same weekend as the bash. Would have been nice have the Triumph truck show up at the one and only true Triumph rally.

You are correct Matt...and sometimes a neglected demo fleet as the mighty Tiger is my favorite choice...I'm taking Mrs. Lucky to Nashville and beyond second week in April and we're taking the Gold Wing and trailer so that is the first big ride of the season...

I work with the Triumph truck every demo weekend and know quite a few of them. Been telling the NE rep for 4 years he needs to attend the Bash and spread some corporate "goodwill". Told the new rep that 3 weeks ago-he just looked at me. Sorry to say these guys don't really get it. I'd wager they could sell 10 new bikes at the Friday meet and greet! Heck-we're ALL easy marks for them at a weak moment like that, are we not? Been harping on Triumph HQ (America) to come up with a few "goodies" for me to bring-the stuff I get from our dealer, who's 300+ miles away, is out of his pocket and he does it just because he's a good guy.
If anybody else knows Dave-give it to him! Tell him to pony up.

Wwe brought 90 riders to a RATPAC event with our then rep and could not even get a hat for the prize table-EVERYTHING was dealer donated with no help from GA. I'd eat my hat, which I paid for, if Triumph showed up with the rig.

Jan "Buck" is a good guy. The seminars and the demo days, etc. are nice.

You would think that between Great Bay, Second Wind, Triumph of Buffalo, Spitzies in Albany got together they should have enough pull to get the Demo truck here in 2012.

I am still working on it!

:plusone: It would be very cool if they could come..by then I might need a new Triumph of some sort or configuration...I wonder why they don't come to events like this where there are more Triumph riders than at a typical dealer's?

I called Great Bay. I was hoping they'd be able to confirm the presence of the new Tiger 800 and 800XC during the demo weekend, but they can not. The salesman said, "eighty bikes, but I we have no idea which ones." I think he meant eight
GSX 650F
sfv650 new gen (wife's)
s40 (sold)
Bandit 400 (sold--big mistake)
2012...something with 3 cylinders!

BTW-dealers pay a good sum for the truck to show up.
