Left Bennington around 1030 and rolled in to East Stroudsburg PA around 5, after an awesome backroad ride thru Mass and NY and the Delaware Water Gap. Slabbed it from there to Gaithersburg MD, home safe!! Pix to follow.

- BlueJ and BonnieLass. Had a blast!

p.s. Our trip totalled *1450* miles. :)

For some reason I thought you lived in Baltimore; should have remembered Gaithersburg, though, as I lived in Germantown for years growing up!

Smooth ride back home to Baltimore. Wish I could have stayed around for the whole Bash, but had a helluva great time while I was there. Will plan/budget for the full event next year! Many thanks to all involved in making this thing happen, and hope to see y'all again.

Cheers,

Robin and I got home yesterday (06/08) around 11:00 AM. We had a great trip. Slept with ponies on Assateague on Sunday night. Danced to the sounds of the Ocracoke Rockers on Ocracoke Island NC on Monday night and stayed in a $40 a night dive 2 hours east of Atlanta on Tuesday night which made for a nice easy 210 mile trip home on Wednesday.

Got to take Robin out for dinner for her birthday and a local band was playing. The mosquitos weren't to bad on Ocracoke but I had scars from Assateague.

Really? For us it was the reverse. On Ocracoke they were vicious and unrelenting, but on Assateague there were only a few.

Did I mention in honor of Robin's birthday we got a room on Ocracoke. That probably had something to do with it.
