Hey Joe!

Great to see you here!
Welcome to the BTB mad house.
Little slow around here this time of year.

Hey Every one
Say hi to my new friend Joe.
I meet him at a gas station, he was getting gas for his 2006 Bonneville America.
Well, you know the rest of the story, I commenced to talking his ear off for the next half hour about Triumphs.
Turns out we are almost next door neighbors. We will be doing some riding.
Hopefully we will have another 2013 BTB attendee.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

Bill, Merry Christmas to you and your family hope all is well and thanks for telling me about this website. It took me awhile to find it. I have lived in Rehoboth, MA for the last 28 years and have a wonderful wife Ellen and two daughters, Jill 25 and Hill 21. We are now empty nesters and that gives me more time to ride my 06 Triumph. I purchased this bike in June after I totaled my 03 Yamaha 1100 Vstar a car pulled right out in front of me at 40 mph well that’s another story. I purchased the Triumph as a fill-in for the rest of the year but I fell in love with it. The balance of the bike is soooooo much better than the Yamaha. I started riding very young on mini bikes then got a dirt bike and finally road bikes. Then I took about 25 years off riding to build my home and put my kids through college. I am now 55 and ready to ride. “My wife won’t get on the bike but that is ok with me, I like going solo”
Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all
See you soon

I was out yesterday Monday 1/14/13 temp was 59 and went by your house "Bill" around 4:30. I didn’t stop because it was getting dark and I was just testing my new sprockets out. Also didn’t have your phone number with me. I need to enter it into my cell. The rear 40t sprocket really makes a big difference. Something new when I was in a corner and let go of one grip the front end would wobble a little. I had this happen on another bike and it was the fork seals. What do you think? I lost power to the GPS also so off with the tank next for repairs on the wiring. The cord on those GPS units don’t last very long on a motorcycle, maybe a year if you are lucky. Just picked up a tank bag for those longer trips, haven’t tried it yet but seems OK.
Well hope all is well
Joe

Bill that was my last post on thriumphrat I don't know if you go on that much.
I was out yesterday and today 1/19/13 & 1/20/13. I was trying out my new purchase on ebay, shouldn't go on ebay late at night after a couple glasses of red wine. I purchased a mag rim, rotor, sprocket 42t and tire for $190.00, in great shape. Well I put it on yesterday with my new rear 40t sprocket and I am getting some vibration. So to make a long story short I came back home after a very disappointing ride and put back on the stock setup. I need to purchase some new tires before spring and I did stop at that new bike shop on 44 near New Street. Well send me an email or call and we should get together. Are you going to the Bennington Bash? Sounds like it would be a lot of fun.

Hey Joe

I have been meaning to get back to you with a reply to your rat net message but, the email I kept to remind me got shuffled to the bottom and I forgot.
I think I saw you last Sunday on rt 118 heading towards Attleboro.
I didn't know there was a new bike shop on 44 near New Street, I will have to check it out.
Drunk ebay shopping , now that's funny. I will be ordering a new Battery soon.

OH YEAH! I will be going to the Bennington Bash, I have been looking forward to going and waiting to go since the end of last years Bash.
I have not missed one since it started back in 2008. I haven't booked a room yet but I will in a couple of months.
Call or swing by any time, I am usually home by 5 pm.
It is a bit cold out there today.

Talk to you later

Thanks I did check out that website pretty good info. Can’t wait until the ridding season starts just put new rims and tires on my bike but can’t try them yet due to the snow conditions. Anybody planning any rides for the spring?
