Just to say hello...

I started stealing my big brothers jold Bonneville when I was 14 years old (1976).

Recently I had a '06 Tiger until some butt head pulled out infront of me and totalled it. I bought a '07 Sprint but couldn't get over how much I liked the Tiger, so here I am with my new'08

Image,

If I am able to get away from work, I plan on being there.

I hope I didnt step on anyones toes when I posted earlier that I liked Mrmellow's bike.

That's a great idea - maybe I will fly my wife up the 150 miles and back so I don't have to stop for all those pee-pee breaks! :-)

I can see I haven't been here enough lately. Winter doldrums. It's nice to see some more Tigers will be there!

Whisperingsmith, I have seen your name around on the RAT website. We both traded in Sprints for Tigers correct?

Nice bike bluesteel and welcome. Randy and I would be happy to ride with you if it works out. I am planning on picking Randy up somewhere in TN on the Monday morning before the Bash and then we plan on taking a few days to get there. We are going the back way. There is plenty of time but if you decide you want the company and the time frame works out let me know and as the time gets closer we will work out a meeting place.

My Sprint is the same color and it sit's in my dads garage right next to his Tiger of the same color.

I have missed the paradise room reservation, But it still possible to make alternative reservations it seems. I am looking at dates to ride up and back now. It looks like my wife and youngest son are planning to fly to Boston. I will leave a few days early and ride up to Bennington and then on to Boston to meet up with them. Dates and work schedule are still up in the air.

Blue Steel,
Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. Yep, that was me. We both left the Sprint world for our Tigers. I loved the Sprint, but this 1050 Tiger is something else. The feel and torque of the Sprint with the comfort of a touring bike. Can't wait to see your bike. We'll have to setup a Tiger section! (I've noticed, we're a little odd, in a nice way.)

If I could find a really good deal on a low-mileage 2001-2004 Tiger, I'd actually strongly consider getting that instead of the V-Strom I'm planning on.
