There has got to be more

Is that it???? For the list of names 59 people?
There has got to be more.
If any body knows some who is going and there not on the list
tell me there names so I can add then to the list.
I want to see that thing grow to 3 digits.

I do too. I am hoping that we pick up a few more on the next 2 months. BTW, nice job on the list. Thanks!

Thanks Tito
I bet I spent at least 2 hours on reading through all the posts to figure out
just who says they will be there and those who say they would like to go but??

There are a lot of names on the members list that have never posted any thing on here
so I don't know it they are going or not.

I think there are people from other forums that are going but I have no way of knowing
who they are.

My guess is that we'll pick up a fair number of spur-of-the-moment attendees in the final weeks. It never ceases to amaze me how many people can't plan their way out of a paper bag if you try to get them to commit to something well in advance.

I was thinking 59 people at this time was not too bad. When the weather warms up and riding fever sets in we should easily get into triple digits. I just wish I had made my reservations earlier as I was the last person to get a Sat. night at the Paradise. There were no Fri. rooms available so I had to reserve a room at Americas Best Value Inn. Would have stayed at the Kirkside but I figured they still had Fri. and Sat. nights open so someone could get them both. Hey, all I really know is we can have a wicked good party with that many people. I'm so in and looking forward to the meet and greet. Oh yeah, is anyone interested in a Brewery tour? Been to most of them in VT. but have missed a couple. Would like to remedy that. Cheers, Touko

Welcome Touko - I see your from Oakdale. Maybe all us CT Yankees can meet up somewhere centrally located in Late April early May and sit down and noodle out who wants to ride up together, when we will meet, where we will meet and the route we will take.

Sounds like a great idea. Seems like routes 7 and 8 are going to be used by many. I was planning on seeing if anyone was stopping along those routes and I'd catch up with them from there. I'm up for a pre ride get together to toss around some ideas or just to talk about the Bash in general. Lets do it. Cheers, Touko

Bill as it gets closer they will be coming out like roaches when the lights go out. Your right Mark dumb bastards will be running around trying to figure out where to stay its amazing we have this all the time for big trail rides with the horses. Hedge and I had this talk early into the thought and I have two sets of reservations I guess I could let the ones go at the Midtown so someone else could get a two day stay. I Know some guys are trying to plan for it but not to sure they can get out of work at the Air Base in dover I meet them at bike night at Bubbas pool hall.

Jimmy - keep your Midtown reservation as a last minute emergency place for a friend of our new family if one should show up. You can always cancel it with no penalty if you give them 48hrs notice. I reserved 2 rooms at the Kirkside when I first made them hoping that Charlie would join us, which he is, but knowing that if he didn't I could throw someone else a nice fat bone as we got closer and everything is booked. The closer we get to the end of May the further out people will have to stay to get a room so in this case it pays to get in early.

I'm sure the closer we get the more it will start to pick up.
I bet there are a lot of people that plan on going but they don't visit this site.

I planted another link on Bennington site RAT-GENERAL_RIDES & EVENTS on my last post. Does BA have any Links?

There is a thread on BA.com that I bump every once in a while. People are getting stoked for the GA rally over there, so it;s hard to get their attention sometime :) I know we'll get a few more from over there, and I'll pimp it like a prize lady of the night when it gets closer.
02 BA, lots of goodies...
