I my world and I can speak only for my little area in the big pond any time someone sticks you in your ass with a needle you know what the fuck is going in to your body . I have had several things coursing my veins and not once did anyone inject me with vitamins. Okay I will not admit to anything but Dball makes you one mean fucker and no one wants to be within 100 feet of you that might be why my wife means so much to me. All those pros need to stand up and tell the commision to kiss their ass and move on with the over paid pro sports player trying to keep his job. If roids would make me a better Farrier I would change jobs because I know first hand what they do to your body. I have seen the viens in my neck ripping out of the skin looking like the fuckin hulk before he turned green and for what to lift ten more pounds its sad when I see a kid looking up to a prick being a poser. Goes back to what my Grand Father told me if you dont earn it it ain't worth having.

I agree 100% with you Jimmy and that's why I said he is no role model! Even though he is a Yankee he has lost his charm with me. Please God do not crush me by telling me Jeter is on roids! BTW Jimmy - I now know what a Farrier is. I Googled it and found out. Seems like a skill that has been past down from generation to generation since man had fist discovered what 1HP can do! :-)

John,
Here's the pic.

Not the best quality, but you get the picture. In my opinion any guy who would give his time and possibly his life to lets us guys overseas know that we're cared for is OK by me.

I think the steroid stuff is bad, real bad, but as a father of a young son I'd be very concerned if any pro athelete was his role model. Excluding Tom Brady, of course.

By the way Enfield, I'm an old horse soldier, really respect the role of a farrier.

That handsome guy on the left looks like a real good role model to me! As a matter of fact he is! My wife's older son is in his 4th year in the Navy as a Master of Arms and her younger son is in his 4th week of Air Force basic training down in San Antonio where my wife and I will be heading on Feb 27 - March 2nd for his graduation! I'm gonna git myself a nice new pair of Tony Llama's when I'm down there and a matching belt to go along with it! :-)

Smart boys, they took the path of light. I took the path of dark, dirt and getting real close to folks who don't like guys who are wearing the American flag on their right shoulder.

My dad was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force during Viet Nam. When I told him I wanted to join the service he told me to go into the Air Force. I said no way, I was born again hard, squatted out by mother Army right over a bed of nails, yeah right. I had my biggest, "I should have joined the Air Force," moment when my scout platoon got to an airfield in Southern Iraq and we were offered an ice cold Snapple by some airmen.

You'll love San Antonio, it's a great city. The river walk is the bees knees, just don't go when it's too crowded. We saw three of four drunk guys fall in the river, (it's only four feet deep).

Last time I went to a Sox game at Fenway I saw a car outside with NY plates selling the "Yankees Suck/Jeter Swallows" shirts :D
