WHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

I got out on my bike today! I got out on my bike today!!!

Flew home from work and moved my bike from the back of the garage out into the driveway, gave her a quick spit and polish, murmured my adoration, turned the key and- VROOOMM!!!

We dropped my daughter at her dance class (she rode in my gentleman friend's sidecar as my bike is a solo) and I had 2 whole hours before I had to go pick her up...Just a nice lazy ride through the local backroads, past some ponds and farmfields. 70+ degrees, sunny, a nice spring breeze.

I was high on life before I got to the end of my street!!

I take copious amounts of mediction for "digestive problems" ;some work, some don't
but yesterday around 3:30 I said "screw it" and took off. first on my BMW as I needed to pick up some stuff and then on the Thruxton...by 5 pm no pain at all !
srew the medication all I need is a dose of Triumph each day

although it is great to be able to talk to my sons about anythngn some things are best left unsaid. my youngest, the one who dropped his 675 last wek, has been using my bikes to get to school and work. First he took the Thruxton. Nice bike, good power but it handles weird. Then he took my Speed Triple. his first remark to me was "oh shit that hting is fast!' I could not keep the front wheel on the ground"
now how an I supposed to sleep?

i too got my bike out yesterday. went home to walk the dog and threw the battery on the charger. got a friend to help after work and got her out of the foyer of the fort (not an easy task with sidewalk pedestrian traffic). pushed her up the alley. popped in the battery after a couple hours and fired her up (took about 12 tries) checked tire pressure lites etc and went out with a buddy for 40 or so miles. got chilly when the sun started to go down.

Install the Google Toolbar, that way not only do you have your search engine on your toolbar but it has a built in Spell Checker Button!

Yeah, wasn't yesterday great!!! Did 2 hours on the Tiger. A little cooler today but I think I'll head out for a ride before the rain comes. See you all real soon!

P.S. Gentleman friend means that I"m considering allowing this gentleman the privelege of "leaving me a quivering pile of incommunicado jello." Us Goddesses are very picky.

drlapo, you are a brave soul. I'd say the only way you're going to sleep is if you hide the bike keys!

Hey Robin! WHHHEEEEEE!!! You got out too! Even a short 40 miles is heaven after a long cold winter.

The rain and cold is back for us too, but now that my bike is in her proper place in the middle of the garage, it's all good.

I did a presentation out in Easthampton on Wednesday....as a thank you, the conference organizers gave the speakers the BEST gift ever....one of those Leatherman All-In-One tools!!! I was so excited, I gave it right to My Pretty Bonnie when I came home. Her first trinket of the season!!
