Knock Knock, Anybody Home?

Postby ATriumphGoddess » Thu Dec 27, 2007 3:12 pm

Hey All,
I was looking for an introductions thread, couldn't post up a pic of My Pretty Bonnie as it's not on a public server, and wanted to say hello cuz my reservations are made for the Bash and I CAN'T WAIT! My bike is hiberating in the garage here in Southeast MA...heavy sigh of sadness.

So who is everyone? I'm Paula- been riding my own bike for 19 years now, my 06 America is my 7th bike and my all time favorite, of course. I'm kind of a tattoed hippie chick who spends time in drag as a Suburban Dance Mom and mild mannered public health worker.

I've ridden with Benny and Lzrdking61, and Whisperinsmith turned me on to the Bash...I lurk on TRat as I can never figure out where I belong posting (lol), and post regularly on BA.com.

Looking forward to meeting folks in May and before if anyone wants to hook up for some pre-Bash riding once the snow is done and over....

Hey Paula
I'm Bill I live in South/east Ma. Rehoboth Ma. Where abouts are you.
I will be making reservation for the Bash some time before March.
I plan on riding up there with a group from the area including whisperinsmith on that Friday morning. My bike is in a lot of pieces right now I'm working on installing the
904 BB kit.
I'm looking forward to meeting every one in May.
Bill

Hey Jimmy and Bill!

Bill- I'm in Easton. Whisperinsmith invited me to ride up with your group on Friday, so cool! My hotel reservation starts Thursday, but if no-one from this area is heading up on Thursday, I'll change it and ride up Friday with you guys.

Is it May yet?

Welcome Paula - I'm glad we have another new member, especially a tattooed Hippie Chick - can never go wrong there! I live down at the bottom of CT in Stamford about 40 miles North of NYC. Like Jimmy said we will be coming up Friday morning with the wife and leaving on Sunday.
There should be no reason why you cannot post pictures here; we do it all the time. Get them hosted on Photobucket or something like that and just copy the thingy here and then do a preview to make sure your good 2 go!

Hola Paula!

Looking forward into riding with you. I have ridden with Robin and Mark and we do have quite a nice group of folks coming up to the Gathering.

I am 48, father of two, divorced, and I love all motorcycles or anything that has to do with motorcycles!

I currently ride 4 bikes

2007 Suzuki V-Strom 650

Hopefully I would be one of your tour guides during the BASH.

I'm in southeast Ct. Been riding since... well I started on an Indian, but it wasn't new. I have a T140, a Thruxton and a Speed Triple now (and others, its a desease you know)
you must join us at the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret CT on a Sunday afternoon lots of bikes and good food, I'll pay for the coffee
a few of us are trying to organize a Euro bike day at the Bean maybe the 3rd Sunday of each month? so far we have only 3 or 4 Triumphs along witht a few BMWs, Ducatis and the odd Aprilia maybe you can come up before the Bennington bash?

Happy New Year Everyone!

Benny- fancy meeting you here! :)

Congrats Bonniegirl! How cool that you've found your Beloved. Lucky you!

Drlapo- my daughter's Dad is into Indians- she's been on the back of his on thier weekends together since she was a wee one . I love the old bikes....Indians and HD flatties and pans....drooling. The Springfield MC show is coming up this month- I may hit that, there are always some cool bikes from the Indian Museum on display.

TonUp- plan those rides, Big Boy!

I'm definately up for coffee and Euro Rallies at the Vanilla Bean...

Hey Paul!
Congrats to you and your Beloved! We tattooed hippie chicks are just the best- we blossom when we can surrender to the love of a good man. You're blessed to have found your Anam Cara ( Celtic for soul mate).
Looking forward to meeting you and Bonniegirl in May! Or even before if some Northeast Riding is in your Spring future with your bride!

Paula
