Places to eat in Bennington

Have questions about the event or the area? Want to plan a ride in with others who are coming? Here's the place for it.

I hope everyone's going for coffee and pastry, etc. Saturday morning at Robin's cafe before the rides! Pump some last minute cash into the coffers before she sells the place. And it's great to boot.

Yes there is a little place called the South Street Cafe. Very nice establishment and the owner is as nice as they come. They have some pretty awesome soups and bread and sandwiches for lunch as well as the cofee and muffins and scones and cinnamon twists and monkey bread and pies. I'm sure I left a few things out but the owner is probably one of the best cooks/bakers in the world.

Oh damn, beer and a bakery ! Better drop at least 10 pounds as it looks like there's gonna be some serious carb loading. Let's live it up! Touko

Don't despair. Things have a way of finding solutions just at the right moment to make the wait worth it.

Then what's the place over by the bowling alley on the way to Home Depot?

I hope to give the cafe some business thursday when I roll into town! Aren't people meeting there?

See I knew there was more than one creamy joint in town! They had soft serve orange sherbet there last time I went with my dad. Real good with chocolate sprinkles!! Yummmm.
