904

Postby TonUp » Sun Dec 23, 2007 9:37 am

904 kit should give it another 20hp? what is the compresion ratio? Are you doing any head work to it? how about the bottom end? Please do keep us posted on your modification progress. I am a performance junkie.

My Speed Triple has

TORS, BCM air filter, New MAP, Rear fender eliminator kit, 44 tooth rear sprocket, Pirelli Corsa III tires. (Dunlop Sportmax GP for the Track are my favorites)

Ton Up!
BMC airfilter, 45 tooth rear sprocket, MIVV GP Carbon Fiber Exhaust, Lithium Battery, over 22lbs weight reduction, Custom Mapping, Skyking frame sliders, Pirelli Supercorsa SP, 112 octane fuel and a smile

Comp. ratio will be 10.5:1 up from stock 9.2:1
I will also be removing the stock air box and installing the K&N pod filters.
I may go with the Barnett heavy duty clutch depending on how the stock plates look
but at least I will change the clutch springs to the heaver ones.
I have the TOR's gutted out clean through they are LOUD ! ! !
The next expense will be new carb's either the Mikuni's or the FCR's
that will wake her up a bit more maybe another 10 HP or so.
When I'm done she will be a whole new bike she wont be a speed triple but,
she will be more then enough for me.
I'm looking forward to meeting you come this spring.

'07 T100

The bike I wanted at age 23, and only had to wait 40 years to buy. (Had some others in between, though.) Sorry to drag the average age up folks, not everyone is at the middle of the bell curve!

T Hundred: welcome
I am approaching the "dreaded" 60 also but although I may grow old, I will never grow up
and growing older is so much better than the alternative
maybe you and I can sit around at Bennington and complain about the damn kids or better yet challenge them to catch us

Either the Speed Triple or the Thrux would work great. Vermont and upstate NY roads are perfect for them both.
