Kickstands Up at 10am Friday morning - Leaving Norwalk CT from Uncle Charlie's Mom's house.

I need a list of anyone who wants to travel with us to Bennington Friday morning. There will be 2 places for anyone to join the "Ugly Ass Monkey Gang". The first place and starting point will be in Norwalk, CT from UncleCharlie's Mom's house leaving at 10am SHARP, which is directly off the Merritt Parkway. The 2nd place to join up will be approximately 12pm in Falls River at the Toymakers Cafe.

Here is how it will work. We are planning on assembling at UncleCharlie's Mom's house starting at 9am. From 9am to 10am we will be doing pre-ride safety checks, air pressure checks, etc. At Exactly 10am on the nose all KICKSTANDS will be lifted and we will move out. We are going to take extreme New England back country roads that will meander through upper Fairfield County into upper Westchester County NY back into CT into Litchfield County and arriving at the Toymakers Cafe for lunch right around 12pm.

Hopefully the owner Greg will give us a tour of his famous British Iron Collection and specialized machine shop after we all eat. If not then we simply move onward up RT 7 and across to RT 8 through Mass and into VT with a final destination of Bennington sometime between 2pm - 3:30pm. Note - this ride is a slow pace beautiful scenic route that we have planned out so if you are one of these people that like to get where your going fast you will hate traveling with us. We are NOT in a rush to get to Bennington! We are more interested in a slow pace beautiful scenic comfortable ride up there. Those of you who are into this are welcome to join us. Again, we will be touring up to Bennington not racing!

If your interested in joining us please copy the list below and reply to this thread by adding your name to the list. In other words, below will be the first two riders, me and Uncle Charlie. Highlight and copy all the names before you and reply to this post and paste all the names into your post and add yourself below the last name. Please either include your cell phone number or PM it to me if you don't want it public. If We don't see you by 9:30am we will call your cell phone to find out where you are. If you add your name and do not give us a contact number and you are not present at 10am and have not contacted us - we will unfortunately be leaving without you. Once we get the list set we will PM you each clear-cut directions to UncleCharlie's Mom's house and Toymakers with contact cell phone numbers.

I took Mrs Hedge for a beautiful country ride today and she had a big smile on her face at the end of the day. She even said, maybe I will come to Vermont! We will see!

Anyone is welcome to join us from the start at UncleCharlie's Mom's in Norwalk, CT or from the Toymakers Cafe in Falls River CT at 12pm +/- where we will break for lunch!

OK all - it is now Official! Jeanne aka Mrs. Hedge is definitely OUT! She said, as I suspected, "Go have fun with your friends, I have to work next weekend and if I have all my employees show up and I'm not there it will look bad!" She said that there are plenty of upcoming events in the future and she will definitely join us for one of those. She will definitely not be at Rhinebeck but will definitely be at the BritFest in August in CT.

Therefore I will be configuring my steed with my Solo Seat & Rack and the Nelson Rigg Tail bag. I can't imagine needing anything more than that!
