Changed plan....

Postby ATriumphGoddess » Thu May 29, 2008 9:04 am

With the weather forcast for Sat and Sun looking so iffy, Bll and I changed our minds about coming up. :(
(My bike makes a real whiny sound when it runs for hours in the rain....oh wait! that whiny sound would be me! LOL)

Instead we're going to go visit the Vietnam Veteran's Moving Wall in Middleboro tomorrow and do some coastal riding down the Cape or in RI this weekend.

I just cancelled my reservation at the Paradise if someone wants to call and scoop up a room?

Have a blast everyone! Ride safe! Our paths will cross another time, I'm sure.

Paula
Come on you got to be kidding us.
Saturday there is only a 30% chance of a passing shower.
That means that there is a 70% chance it wont.

Sunday there is only a 5% chance of a shower
That means that there is a 95% chance it wont.

Reconsider it and ride up with Wisperinsmith , Marty and me tomorrow.

They have been changing the forecast all week.
I say it is going to be fantastic weather all weekend. and you will regret not going.

30%%!!?? We'd take that in a heartbeat... but our forecast down here says Saturday is 80% rain in Bennington. We're scheduled to depart here in a couple hours to make it halfway or more...

The queen that made the song of the day that got me thru winter is not going to be there?
I am bumming now paula. I understand though. Hope you can make a swing to meet us for a little bit. Even if it is in a "cage"

Waaaaahhh...I'm bumming too, I agonized over this decision....I was a crazy woman cross- referencing weather forcasts all last night and early this morning.....feeling like there's no right decision....

For me, it's one thing to get caught in the rain on a days ride, but it's another to have a weekend of it away on a motorcyle, or to ride 4 hours home in it.....I did enough riding in the rain when I was younger.

Sad face here, but hoping it's a great weekend for you all! Next one, then?

I think there's a thread about Maine on here.......

Paula,

Since you are not going, I charge you with this one task. It is your job to keep the song of the day going.

Rest assured that we will raise a drink to you tomorrow night.
