My ribs just need to be finished on the Grill so the pre-cooking can be done the morning of the BBQ.

John,

When did you send it? I have checked with everyone who receives the mail and no package. Is there any tracking numbers which would show who signed for it?

No - I just sent it in a CD mailer like the last one. No big deal; if it doesn't come by the end of this week I'll just make another one for you.

Man I would love to, However I hold my summer end BBQ for the MEME group, plus it's my bow/bird/duck/grouse/bear/camping trip. If the fucking gas wasn't so expensive I would come down for your 4th party. Wife said no, so I have to wait till the next BTB-BBQ

I've had Hedge's ribs, they are good.

I think it would be worth asking Hemmings. I know Terry Erich is the head guy there, he used to work with my mom. Maybe she can put in a good word for us? The Paradise grounds is a really good idea too. It's really just a matter of cooking facilities... Where to pre-cook the ribs? etc.

Please call Charlie and ask him . . . he is starting to panic because he is beginning to remember that he opened up his yap about July 4th on Jimmy's terrace! :D I told him don't sweat it if he can't do it. Seems he is a little strapped with money. If he does do it I will throw money for food but I don't drink so I ain't paying for the booze! We shall get an idea of what's what by next week.

You tell Charlie if he cant or doesn't want to do it then don't. I will not hold it against him if he doesn't want to do it. Shit money is getting tight for everyone with the fuckin price of fuel I would rather put it off till fall anyway when the temps permitted a ride . Nothing like running 6 hours to sit and eat and then do a 6 hours marithon back home.

Not a wet blanket, but the sober voice of reality. If someone were willing to let us use their lot, the route to go might be, BYOB and food. Organizers provide a grill, utensils and a trash outlet. After all it is a grasss roots event. I can' imagine the anxiety you went through getting ready for the pizza party.
