No problem dude, and sorry if I overreacted. Truth is I hate having to compromise, but priorities is priorities. And riding in the rain requires even more concentration than the dry, so I pick my battles. It's not that I can't do it, but I get tired faster than the average joe. Don't need that, PLUS the mental distraction of justk nowing I'm tired, ya know? I've considered making a separate post about the issue... maye now's the time!

You have to take care of yourself first Benny. No one else will do it for you. You seem to already know that.

I consider myself lucky that I don't have to make any similar kind of compromise.

Looking forward to camping out next year, got by gore-tex bivy cover and poncho liner ready, Hedge you and I can daisy chain some claymores and lay some tangle foot down to keep the VC out.

I'll volunteer, did a lot of that while my soldiers were firing on the range. All kinds of tracer fires down range, you'd be amazed at the size of a brush fire you can put out just by stamping on it.
