My Bike for Sale-Sold

Postby matts1050 » Sun Nov 09, 2008 8:04 pm

I've listed my 2007 Tiger for Sale on Cycletrader, craigslist and other places I can't remember. It has 6000 mile on the odometer. Nice bike -have a look. I'm asking $8700. It has the heated grips and tailbag+ TOR tune but not the TOR can. Black in color. In the Spring I'll decide what next to buy!

There's nothing wrong with it. It's the most comfortable bike. I put 6000 miles on it this year compared to 10,000 over 5 years on my America. It's fast, handles good. The weak point is the rear shock. Plan on spending $800 to upgrade it. I'm on the fence as to what's next for me. Maybe a KTM? Versys?

The rear shock replacement is the same as any other bike. Elka makes a custom shock for the Tiger. You can get it for $700 + depending on how many adjustments you want.

Versys is nice, but you're gonna miss the power... I think the only way you're gonna get more comfort is to go Beemer.
02 BA, lots of goodies...
I may live in NY, but I grew up in VT! I'm a local for this one...

I would go with a Ducati myself if the economy hadn't gone to shit and Hedge hadn't asked me how I was going to ride 2 bikes home I was going to buy one at Carlisle .
